We’re excited to welcome two new members to our executive team, Sangeeta Chakraborty as our VP of Customer Success and Scott Davis as our VP of Sales! Sangeeta and Scott both bring over 20+ years of experience in their field, across a wide range of industries and company sizes.
Sangeeta Chakraborty is an experienced C-level executive and computer scientist with a long career in building and scaling customer functions in enterprise software companies. Prior to Checkr, Sangeeta was the Chief Customer Officer at Ayasdi, where she and her team drove value through AI at global enterprises around the world. Her career in the software industry also spans the growth and scale of two successful technology start-ups (InQuira and Digital Fuel Technologies) from early stages to global growth, to successful exits (purchased by Oracle and VMware respectively), making use of her ability to develop winning strategies; select, motivate, and lead top-performing teams; and deliver strong customer growth and lifecycle management.
In her role, Sangeeta will lead Checkr’s Customer Success and Support teams, foster customer growth, scale the customer success function, and build long-lasting relationships with our customers.

Scott most recently served as Vice President of North American Sales for AppDynamics (acquired by Cisco). Prior to this, he scaled sales teams at high-growth tech companies, including Medallia, where he and the team grew global revenue over 800% in four years, as well as BMC and BladeLogic (acquired by BMC). In his role, Scott will lead Checkr’s sales team and work to drive the sales strategy and execution.

As members of Checkr’s executive team, Sangeeta and Scott will report directly to CEO and Co-founder Daniel Yanisse with responsibility across all customer success and sales functions, respectively. They will build out the customer success and sales teams and work closely to drive growth and strong business value for Checkr’s customers.
